Describe the website you need.

Start with the audience, required pages and the impression you want to create. Add a design or references. “An architecture studio website with generous project photographs, a team page and expressive motion.” With project tools and CMS access configured, Codex can help develop a theme and manageable content.

Keep the conversation going after launch.

Ask for a section update, an article or a news item. Research and media services depend on configured extensions and access. The agent can prepare metadata and internal links. You can also edit the text or image in the admin and decide when to publish.

Before you begin

Is Codex a built-in CMS chat?

No. Codex is a separate OpenAI product. Configure the project and CMS tools separately. Progressive CMS stores the content and manages publication.

What should I prepare?

A brief or design, a working CMS instance and a dedicated token with the necessary permissions. Agree review and publication rules.

Can I change agents or edit manually?

Yes. Content stays in the CMS and the theme in the project. Another configured tool can continue, or people can use the admin.

Is model access included?

No. Agent and model access have their own provider terms and costs. Progressive CMS is open-source software with no per-site CMS license fees. The Download page links to the source, releases and installation guidance.

Choose your next step.

See the official Codex documentation for current agent capabilities and requirements. It is installed and configured separately from the CMS.
